About Deakin Management Centre
The Deakin Management Centre is located on the Geelong Waurn Ponds Campus. Only 30 minutes from Avalon Airport and 60 minutes from Melbourne it offers an all-in-one wedding reception venue with exceptional food and professional service. The event is on Geelong’s outskirts with multiple ceremony locations while the reception can be hosted in an expansive bar and lounge or the restaurant.
• A ceremony caters to 80 guests, and you can choose a myriad of locations with beautiful scenery across gardens and lakes. White guest chairs with a bridal arch, wedding aisle as well as signing table after the ceremony.
• The Main Hall restaurant caters to 250 seated guests. Pre-reception cocktails are served in an adjacent foyer with a guest wedding gift table. Plus, an impressive suite where the bride and her party and groomsmen can get ready for ceremonies and reception. With elegant ceiling draping accompanied by fairy lights and elegantly dressed tables for guests and a luxury bridal table is also a large dance floor with space for live music or DJ.
