About Platypus Park Riverside Retreat

Platypus Park Riverside Retreat is an exquisite wedding venue situated on the banks of River Burnett, where we have powered and unpowered sites overlooking this pristine river. It is too close to Bundaberg central business district. It is a perfect place for a wedding, event, or cooperative gathering. It is a perfect place for couples who love the presence of stunning River views, where there is one known as Burnett River. It is a 50-acre private garden for you to sorely have your wedding or an event you wish to have.

Facilities and Capacity

We have a purpose-built barn that can hold a maximum of 200 guests and a minimum of only ten guests. You will find event spaces at Platypus Park, both indoors and outdoors. The beautiful Burnet River's Pleasence and a well-decorated outdoor space make an excellent background for the most memorable beach wedding photos. On the site, we have shower facilities, a toilet, and a pontoon that our guests can use. There is abundant wildlife whilst canoeing up our subtropical creek, which you will enjoy. Platypus Park Riverside has a hidden gem with bushwalking, fishing, and volleyball, making it a perfect place where you can't even regret it.

The park has a purpose-built burn for the reception with a classy modern rustic theme which makes it a great backup in rainy weather.
