Silvermere is a country house situated just 5-10 minutes from Katoomba, New South Wales. The house was built in the 1920s and is surrounded by about 6000 sq.m of stunning gardens. Silvermere has been beautifully restored to include affordable onsite accommodation for you and your guests and expansive areas that are perfect for your wedding ceremonies and reception and offers exclusive use of the whole property.
You can also make use of the manicured lawns for the wedding ceremony. There are many incredible photo opportunities on the property grounds, both indoor and outdoor, where you and your nearest and dearest can take memorable wedding photos. • Indoor
There are generous indoor spaces for your wedding ceremony without having to worry about the weather or to set up a marquee. These indoor spaces have unique features, including spectacular views of the warm northern sun and the Blue Mountains. It has a dining capacity for 20 to 60 adults, making it perfect for your special day.

• Outdoor
The outdoor areas of Silvermere are just as unique as the indoor areas. The cool climate garden provides the perfect backdrop for your wedding ceremony in all seasons, including stunning views of the World Heritage Blue Mountains. Set up your wedding ceremony on the manicured lawns of Silvermere, and start your happily ever after with scenic backdrops. Silvermere offers four different types of accommodation in the 1920s restored country house that can sleep 16 guests in total. The double or twin rooms are located in the west-wing and are named after the mountains: Yengo, Tomah, Irvine and Hay. All suites feature beautiful views of the gardens, large LCD TVs, private bathrooms, quality linen and towels, toiletries, coffee and tea making facilities, and free WiFi. Other facilities the suites have are listed below.
• Yengo Room: Yengo Room was the original best room in the house. It features an Art Deco fireplace and two twelve-pane Georgian windows overlooking the stunning grounds and the gardens.
• Tomah Room: Featuring western doors leading into a veranda, it is also attached to a Turkish-style spa bathroom located in the west wing hallway.
• Irvine Room: It has some of the restored original features from 1923, including two sets of French doors which open onto the veranda. It also has an Art Deco fireplace, just like the Yengo Room.
• Hay Room: It features an Art Deco fireplace, twelve-pane Georgian windows, a double spa bathroom and a separate walk-in shower.
