About Laurelville
Laurelville is a gorgeous Edwardian, turn-of-the-century double-storey residence on the side of Mt Brown that overlooks the Avon Valley and York. Laurelville is set on a three acres property of lush gardens with distinctive gables, wide bullnose verandas, and elegant turrets. It provides the most romantic and elegant backdrop for a perfect traditional romantic wedding. With York as the oldest Western Australian inland town, there are plenty of tourist attractions around the area, with the house forming an integral part of the history of York.
• Gardens or Marquee options are open to discuss with your wedding coordinator with three acres of beautiful space. Choose tables under the stars during beautiful autumn or spring nights, or use the magnificent silk lined marquee that comes complete with chandeliers.

A beautiful silk-lined marquee complete with chandeliers provides a very romantic and iconic atmosphere for your celebrations. The churches and Laurelville’s three acres of gardens can be decorated as you wish. Also, you can help from venue stylists to decorate your dream wedding.
The venue does not offer an in-house catering service, but it allows third-party catering from pre-approved caterers, or you can bring your own catering company.
The house has been refurbished by interior designers and a beautiful Australian home interior. The home built in 1896 has high ornate ceilings, open fireplaces, polished timber floors, and an elaborate timber staircase. When you book the venue, you can book from Friday through until Sunday, which gives you time to set up your reception and has exclusive use of the entire house and grounds for three days. The second floor has four king-size ensuite bedrooms, one queen size bedroom, and two twin bed bedrooms. The ground floor houses a large kitchen that your caterer can use, a private lounge, TV room, dining room, a billiard room, and a salon. Luxury bedding and towelling are provided.
