● The Meerkat Room is more suitable for reception. It has a seated gust capacity for 160 guests and a cocktail capacity for 300 guests. The Meerkat Room has the floor to ceiling windows that look over the Meerkat capacity to feature a stunning backdrop. The Meerkat Room also has a deck that looks over the Lakeside Cove and the Gorilla exhibit. There are meerkats at this reception venue that playfully line the background together with exotic African Wildlife.
● Another reception area is Slumber Dining Hut, which can host up to 34 guests in banquet style. This space is suitable for more intimate weddings, birthdays, etc. With its private area with a firepit, this venue is perfect for couples who want to spend their special day with their family and close friends.
There are several favourite spots for you to take some fantastic Werribee Open Range Zoo wedding photos. While you may take your photos at any place in the zoo, you are not permitted to feature animals that are enclosed.
