About Coonara Springs Restaurant and Gardens
Coonara Springs Restaurant in the heart of Dandenong Ranges is rich in history. The property was established in 1893, and during extensive refurbishment in 2016 the rich history and integrity were maintained. It features seven acres of magnificent gardens with unbeatable Yarra Valley views, luscious vegetable gardens, and a natural spring. The gardens were inspired by Edna Walling, who is an Australian landscape artist.
● Intimate Restaurant has a capacity of up to 60 seated guests.
● The outdoor venue offers rustic hardwood tables featuring wooden benches and wooden chairs. Choose between white damask tablecloth underlays and overlays and if you prefer natural rustic appearance table mats. Bridal tables with white dinner service and various colours of stoneware dinner sets are available. Large canopies on the lush lawns protect to add additional shade and a romantic atmosphere. Outdoor reception capacity is 150 seated guests and 200 guests for cocktail-style receptions.

Intimate Restaurant offers a flower arrangement on a stand, flower arrangements on brides table and decoration on guests’ tables, fairy lighting, candles, and rustic setting. Tables are covered with white linen and napkins while overlays and underlays can be in your choice colour. Chair covers are also event colours related.
Coonara Springs Restaurant’s chef and kitchen staff cater to all dietary requirements, and couples are invited to discuss menu preferences and options. One of the menus is Harvest Menu that encompasses three entrée options, two main share options plus two sides and desserts. Other menu options plus the restaurant menu are available for wedding receptions as well.
Coonara Springs is one of the few venues that offer both indoor and outdoor wedding areas. When you have a large event, you can book the entire space with both indoor and outdoor and rest assured your wedding will be the only one.
