About Italian Australian Club

The Italian Australian Club epitomizes the multiculturism of Australia, which is seen in its membership basis. The venue is 1 hour and 45 minutes from Melbourne. The club was formed in 1960 by an Italian group working on the Morwell Power Station’s construction. With an increasing number of jobs and Italian immigrating to Australia, the club launched what was then known as the Morwell RSL Hall. Located on Princes Drive in Morwell it offers a stylish and elegant wedding venue.

Facilities and Capacity

• The Cocktail Room caters to an intimate cocktail reception for up to 60 guests with simple, yet sophisticated décor. With its built-in bar and large tables for canapes, it is small and intimate.
• The Banquet Room caters to 200 seated guests and is both majestic and grand for a lavish wedding reception. With a lavishly dressed head table with floral runners and wrought iron candelabra, grand plating, glasses, and silverware. Guest tables in the carpeted hall are large round tables, chairs with chair covers in the colour of your choice, while floor plans and table layout depend on you. It also includes a dance floor plus a stage for live music and a DJ.
