About The Warehouse Geelong
The Warehouse Geelong is an old warehouse. It is which is located a few miles from the Geelong city centre (CBD), can conduct your marriage ceremonies and receptions under one roof. The warehouse was designed by Melbourne architects ZWEI in the 1920s. It was once a Herne’s Cough Medicine factory, which has subsequently been redesigned and refurnished into a wedding venue. The new kid on the block still has its original features while getting a touch of modern architecture.
The venue has a shady look with the exposed timber trusses and the old school appearance, and it can accommodate 20-200 people in its indoor setup. It is made up of 6 meters high ceiling and 250 square meters of the original polished floor. It is fitted with coolers and heaters to ensure that your wedding is not affected by Australia’s uncanny weather. It comes in a complete package of banquette sitting along with tables and bentwood chairs giving out a vibe of weddings in the old days.
The venue also provides accommodation in its loft-style boutique apartments and thus providing a complete package. One such boutique is the Hearne apartment, which is designed to accommodate guests and the couple for a short stay or long-time accommodation.
