Terara Park

At 174 Millbank Road in Terara, Terara Park is a unique wedding venue with a lovely waterfront. The function area open to a magnificent jetty that overhangs the dam. It is a perfect rustic rural wedding venue featuring an old pastoral arena. The park is right on the Shoalhaven River banks and caters predominantly to weddings, with accommodation available too. The park was built in the 1970s as a riding school until 2000. Extensive renovations in early 2005 turned the garden into the area’s number one equine center until 2008. Since then, it has undergone further renovations while keeping the original Barn and the many regions intact and opened it as a wedding and function venue. It is an excellent rural country-style wedding venue on 22 acres of the horse stud farm.

• The Garden Ceremony caters to 40 guests with wooden garden chairs while you can exchange your vows on the jetty that overhangs the dam. For photo opportunities, take the bride and groom canoe ride across the dam.
• The Barn is rustic with hay bales around, plenty of exposed wood and wooden trestle tables, and wooden benches that complete the rustic farm venue. The ceiling and walls are decorated with fairy lights for a romantic touch. The stables are still there next to the Barn and remain original for excellent photos.

Terara Park has a fabulous rustic decoration, which provides an unforgettable wedding experience for couples. Plenty of exposed wood and wooden trestle tables and wooden benches add a vintage ambiance to the venue. Also, fairy lights complete the decoration.

There is no in-house catering service but, the venue offers you the best local catering companies for your special day. You can choose from any of them.

The self-contained units offered by Terara Park are magnificent self-contained cottages. The Loft offers a large queen bed with a lounge and dining area and a fully equipped kitchen. Right in front of the bed is a cozy fireplace. The Bunkhouse features several rooms with queen beds, folding down double beds, and folding down single beds. It also features a large kitchen, two bathrooms and a living room with a fireplace. Two other units offer different bed sizes, even with bathrooms and kitchens.
