About Lynette Maguire
If you want a ceremony that will be the talk of the town for years, then you’re at the right place. Lynette Maguire will help you design the perfect ceremony that is unique, personalised, and professionally celebrated. Her ceremonies are upbeat and fun, but also with a beautiful gooey side so a perfect balance! Most outstandingly, Lynette has won a swag of wedding-related awards so you know you’re in good hands.
Lynette started her career as a celebrant in 2004. Her love for wed-locking couples, with all the planning and excitement, made her develop the mantra 'making weddings fun.' Her bubbly, charming personality tied with great authenticity and a unique sense of humour are her well-loved attributes.
When not conducting weddings on Bribie Island (Lynette’s home base), she travels to Brisbane and Sunshine Coast and has been known to go further afield. She has a great love of her profession and is a celebrant trainer, so you know you’re in professional hands.
Lynette is also a professional public speaker and holds popular speaking workshops for the community through the University of the Sunshine Coast, where she also teaches for the School of Business and Creative Industries where she obtained her Doctorate in 2015. So, she’s Dr. Lynny.
Lynette's services are a beautiful balance of fun and emotions. Basically, you the couple set the scene by telling her what vibe you’re after – most couples want a balance of fun and emotion, while others want outright hilarious, or elegant and formal. Lynette can do them all. The majority of Lynette’s ceremonies are modern and interactive; you’ll be sure to get to have a laugh and have a delightful day. The services range from non-religious weddings to same-sex commitment ceremonies.
