Together with her husband, they have been able to pursue several courses and careers when they came to Adelaide from the Middle East. They have been able to acquire a Masters in Nutrition and an MBA, respectively, 12 years later after relocating.

Because of her love for delicious ice creams, she could not find the flavours in South Australia that are popular in Saudi. She then resorted to making them herself, building up a significant selection of ice creams using the flavours that taste of her childhood. That is when Sassi Ice Creams was born. She named the business after her youngest daughter Sassi.

The couples have since worked hard to build a life for their family, and they've put a great deal of thought, effort, and money into their product, its branding.

Sassi Ice Cream is prepared with the sensory overload of a walk through an aromatic Middle Eastern. The creams have mysterious floral essences notes; Pomegranate Swirl roasted nuts, the tang of pomegranate in the Sage, sesame paste swirls in the Tahini Twist, and exotic spices.
