He's won multiple Brides Choice Awards and been in the Top 10 Wedding Photographers in Victoria for the last 4 years in the ABIA Awards.

More important than that, though, is their reviews from past couples, which he thinks shows that not only does he do the photography bit, but the "looking after you" on the day (and afterwards) bit as well.

John really loves shooting weddings – way more than he would when he decided to start Millgrove Photography back in 2011. He thinks it’s just such a privilege to work with couples on their big day, spending time being a little part of the huge celebration, meeting their lovely families and friends and getting the opportunity to take photos in some stunning locations at the same time.

He considers himself a pretty laid-back person, but when he's focused on the job he's 100% into what he's doing. Although he can be quite serious when he's “switched on”, he loves to have a laugh and spend photo sessions chatting with brides and grooms and their friends and family. They're here to get awesome photos where you look like you’re having fun and enjoying yourselves – why not actually have fun and enjoy yourselves while you’re at it!?
