About Saltram Wine Estate
Saltram Wine Estate is situated just an hour-plus from Adelaide city centre. It was founded in 1859 by William Salter and his son Edward. They planted a unique vineyard in the heart of Barossa Valley. Now, it combines the old age appeal of the original winery with contemporary facilities and styling. Saltram has the perfect venue for the wedding ceremony and reception, boasting stunning gardens and various function rooms surrounded by spectacular vineyards. It is the ideal venue for couples that loves a romantic and magical winery-feel wedding.
There are various indoor and outdoor function areas in Saltram Wine Estate with a perfect setting for you to choose from for your wedding celebrations and reception.
• The Mamre Brook House
The Mamre Brook House is the most expansive function room, situated on Saltram Wine Estate hill. It has a large private open lawn, which is enclosed by rose gardens. The open lawn setting is ideal for either a pergola or cocktail under the star wedding. You can also enjoy pre-drinks and canapes there. The backdrops will make to say "Yes" happily. The panoramic views that it boasts offers picture opportunity for you and your guests. It can hold up to 120 guests (seated) and a bridal table.
• Dolans Den
Dolan Den is a small and intimate room in the Saltram Winery building. It is air-conditioned to make you and your guests comfortable in warm weather. It is also used as a substitute ceremony space whenever the weather isn't favourable during your wedding day. The room can accommodate approximately 40 guests seated, making it the perfect venue for small weddings.
• The Grey Barrel Room
The Grey Barrel Room is situated deep in the middle of the winery under the old gabled room amid oak barrels and white stonewalls. It is the largest indoor space, with the 1800s themed barrel hall containing natural lights with air conditioning to ensure you and your guests' comfortability. It can hold 110 guests(seated) and a bridal table.
