Worendo Cottages is a stunning wedding venue close to both Gold Coast and Brisbane. It is the ideal location for couples who love nature and want to have a country wedding. What sets Worendo Cottages apart from the rest is that they are an exclusive venue, hosting only a few weddings each year. Complete with catering and accommodation options, Worendo Cottages provides you with a ‘wedding retreat’ as you host and celebrate your special day.

The Wild Lime Cottage is the on-site ceremony and reception location along with the property’s lawn. Chairs for seating up to 80 guests can be arranged here. It can accommodate a total of 120 guests cocktail-style. You also get access to the Bush Hut Olive Grove and the Creek for photoshoots.

● A dedicated venue coordinator available throughout the event ensures that things go smoothly.
● A comprehensive checklist, as part of the pre-planning, is created to ensure that nothing is issued.
● Ground staff including runners, car park helpers and maintenance staff are also included in the package.
● All platters, plates, and cutlery for food are included.
● Mic and PA systems are also available for the ceremony.
● Worendo Cottages liaises with your suppliers such as the celebrants, photographer, makeup artists, etc. to keep things running smoothly.
● A backup generator and 3-phase power backup are also included.
● The wedding ceremony & reception should be ended at 10:30 pm.

The 360-degree scenic views around Worendo Cottages are the perfect backdrop for any wedding. The setup of a marquee or tipi with power is also available with an additional hire cost-also table cloths and napkins are not included in venue hire-. You have the freedom to choose the type of decorations and lighting that you want to make your venue as perfect as you want it to be.

● You can hire your caterer for the event as long as it is insured and licensed. A fully-setup commercial kitchen is also available for your caterers to prepare the food. Worendo Cottages does not have an in-house catering service but do have ‘The Vintage Pickle’ as their preferred caterer.
● You can bring your alcohol and store it in the mobile cold room at Worendo Cottages. The staff at the venue will take care of serving it to your guests.

Wedding night accommodation for the couple is available at the Wild Lime cottage as part of the wedding package. Accommodation for guests is also available in rooms at the Worendo Homestead and the various private cottages across the property.
