It was built by the Scrub Hill community in 1869 and has been stunningly restored to be a unique venue for weddings and events. Scrub Hill offers the entire property for exclusive use to individualize the flexible spaces to any style that suits you. There are various packages to choose from or tailor one to suit your needs. It is the perfect venue for a country wedding celebration.

Facilities and Capacity

Scrub Hill 1869 is set on 2-acres of property and is enclosed by rich farmland, providing lawn areas and buildings to host a wedding ceremony and reception. Some of the spaces are:
• Bluestone Church: The Bluestone Church is an ancient 150-year-old building featuring stunning green and yellow diamond leadlight windows, high timber ceilings, and a Baltic pine floor. It can accommodate 60 seated guests or 120 standing guests for the wedding ceremony and reception.
• Sunday School: The Sunday School is a rustic space with narrow, high-arched windows, original timber, panelled groove walls, and gabbled ceilings. It is also perfect for the wedding ceremony and accommodates 30 seated guests or 80 standing guests.
• The Rose Lawn: The Rose Lawn is a stunning and manicured lawned area enclosed with roses, which provides the perfect backdrop for pre and post-wedding ceremony drinks.
