Located just out of Margate on the Channel Highway in Tasmania, is The Brookfield Shed. You cannot miss the enormous green shed once an old seed drying shed turned into a restaurant and organic product sales. It is the ideal venue when a real country wedding is your dream. With gorgeous green gardens outside and fringed by vegetables and fruit trees and vineyard rows, it offers sumptuous meals sourced from its gardens as well as neighbouring farms.
The shed with its high ceilings and plenty of green exposed wood, cement, and luxury lighting and chandeliers is an eclectic modern and historical combination. Large round and long wooden tables with wooden chairs that can be dressed up or down ensure that you have a farm-style wedding with a tinge of bohemian and glamour. With enough space for a dance floor and a space for a live band and music, it caters to 120 seated guests.
