About Epsom House
One of Australia’s top 100 oldest houses is Epsom House with its location outside of Hobart in Tasmania. It is a bespoke wedding venue with a boutique historic ambience in two acres English gardens, a rare ballroom and grand period accommodation plus gourmet menus. The owners, dedicated time and money to create the bespoke wedding venue with loads of spaces specifically designed for the ultimate outdoor wedding ceremony before your reception. Epson House is also a centre for classical music and provides live music to ceremonies and receptions like brass fanfares, string quartet, or piano.
• The wedding ceremony can be held in a format and style of your choice, from casual to formal in the courtyards and conservatory, in the ballroom, or English-style gardens for a garden ceremony. Choose the Terraced native garden withs its mini waterfall and rockpool, the summer house garden that features an Italianate pool, or under the rose arbour next to the lily pond.
• The Georgian Room caters to 60 guests in a warm and elegant style with dark walls, a magnificent ceiling, and plush comfortable guest chairs.
• The Garden caters to 100 seated guests using marquees and gazebos and luxury seating and tables with luxurious table linen, décor, and flowers.

Bride and groom have a choice of staying in a grand honeymoon suite that includes a mahogany four-poster bed dating from 1850. Your guests can choose from one of six guest rooms, each individually designed.
