About South Leagues Club
What started as a Rugby League Club in 1955 on Llewellyn Street in Merewether, is today a huge community with more than 8, 000 members in a magnificent setting. It is a prime destination for functions and especially weddings. Choose from a variety of custom wedding packages suitable to your requirements.
The Wedding Room caters to up to 300 seated guests while also featuring a large dance floor and a stage for a live band or music.

South Leagues Club offers various decoration materials. It is a sight to behold with low ceilings and ambient lighting, ceiling fairy lights, and accent lights. A gorgeous backdrop is provided for the bride's table with luxury tableware and various décor options to choose from. Guests are seated at large round wooden tables with chairs covered in the colour of their choice including sashes. Table linen is also in a large number of colour options. Magnificent table decor, crystal glass, prime silverware, and dining sets are also provided.
A variety of menus are available that includes a drop menu which is suitable for a formal event and customizable for dietary requirements. Choose from buffets to plated dinners, grazing stations, entrée and canapes, finger foods, or work with the chef and design a custom menu. House specialties from the kitchen include Italian portions of pasta and pizzas and mains like Indo Chicken, Pork Leg Roast, or Rump, grilled to perfection.
