About Nyllavert Gardens
Nyllavert is the only venue you need when a beautiful garden wedding ceremony and reception is your dream. Located in Launceston City's heart, it offers an imposing Edwardian house with an expansive flat lawn. The house was built in 1898 and was a parliament member's home before being gifted to the city. Through a hedge and curves drive, access to Nyllavert Gardens leads to a raised terrace, elegant balcony area, gardens, and lawn. This black garden canvas offers many layout options within walking distance to Launceston's accommodations, churches, and attractions.
The Grand Lawn caters to 150 seated guests in a large marquee. The flat lawn is shaded by lovely mature trees and very suitable for garden ceremonies and cocktail weddings to cater to 300 guests. The elegant balcony and paved terrace are also part of the wedding reception available space set up. Garden wedding ceremonies can be at any location of your choice on the lawn, balcony, or terrace.
