About Red Rattlers

Contemporary weddings are not just about choosing the most expensive destination or an exclusive resort. The ideas have changed. And The Red Rattlers demonstrates one such unique wedding venue idea. These carriages were built in the year 1928 at the Walsh Island Dockyards from New Castle, Australia. They have served the Sydney suburban lines for years, until 1991. Records say that Carriage C3255 had covered 8.2 million kilometres in its running time.

However, these were auctioned later to be used in Tambar Springs of Central West NSW. The existing owner, Fi Dee, hunted these down, bought them, and completed the restoration. After undergoing four years of renovation, the journey of these carriages as wedding venues began.

Facilities and Capacity

The Red Rattlers has become a popular wedding ceremony venue among the couples from all over Australia. Their signature dark red-brown colour and sectioned windows connect them to their history.

Both carriages are connected with a wooden patio, which provides additional seating space. Whether you like casual, iconic, or bohemian weddings, these carriages will cater to all these styles. These “Rattlers” have a capacity of 20 to 100 people.

Decoration
