About Grand Star Receptions

Grand Star Reception is situated 10 minutes away from Melbourne’s CBD. It is tucked away in the Western suburbs, making it have some picturesque surroundings and a calm ambience. In 2006, this venue won the Australian Achiever Awards for their exemplary customer service. It is also accredited by the major industrial players in Melbourne, like the Australian Bridal Service. This venue is suitable for Christmas parties, private events, weddings, corporate events, school events, and more.

Facilities and Capacity

Grand Star Receptions wedding venue has services that offer an intimate setting, elegant décor, and a serene ambience to impress both you and your guests. There are three venues to choose from at Grand Star.
The Imperial Room is more suitable for a large wedding with a capacity of 200 to 700 guests. It can be arranged to fit any number of guests that you may have. This venue’s main features include a large dance floor, a double timber staircase, and a raised bridal table. It was also recently renovated with a neutral colour.
The Venus Room is perfect for a smaller wedding with a seated capacity of 100 to 220 guests. It has stylish interiors with soft neutral colour finishes. Its main features include a parquetry dance floor, a staging area, a bridal table area, and a fully serviced bar. It also has an elegant mirror and lighting features.
The Starlight Room is the smallest venue at Grand Star with a capacity for 50 to 120 seated guests. It lives up to its name because it will give you the illusion of being under the stars on a clear night. A stunning timber staircase takes you to the room’s entrance. Other features include a parquetry dance floor and a neutral colour scheme, an entertainment area, and a stage for the bridal table.
