San Remo Ballroom (SRB) is has become Melbourne's most renowned Wedding Reception & Events Venue. Located in Carlton North, it's situated just 2 km from Melbourne CBD and within a 10 minute drive of the best ceremony venues and picturesque photography locations across the city.
A breathtaking, timeless and oh so glamorous space featuring stunning 1920’s art deco details, luxury finishes, ceiling curtains and magnificent crystal chandeliers shimmering above a large circular dance floor, SRB offers contemporary romantic charm, with the versatility to fit in with your personal styling preferences and unique vision.
This grand, elegant space and the wonderful events team behind all the magic has won multiple awards within the Australian Wedding Industry as voted by real couples, being recognised for their breathtaking venue features, exceptional service, best function coordinator and catering excellence. For more than 60 years, this venue keeps its reputation by giving couples the wedding of their dreams.
● The Ballroom: This spectacular space has a seated capacity of between 150 and 480 guests, and capacity for up to 800 guests cocktail style. The ballroom's wow-factor comes from its jaw dropping 6 metre cascading grand crystal chandelier in the centre with 12 smaller surrounding ones, high ornate art deco ceilings and the largest circular dance floor in Melbourne.
● The Terrazzo Lounge: This stylish, contemporary room offers a more intimate space for smaller sized weddings and events, with a capacity of 20- 70 seated guests and up to 100 for a cocktail canape style wedding. Offering the same grandeur as our ballroom but on a smaller scale, with art deco interiors, elegant white tiled floors, a sleek black curved bar with luxe gold trimmings and more.
