About Country Club Hotel

One hundred kilometres north of Melbourne at 18th street in Yea is the Country Club Hotel. It is a historic building destroyed in 2015 by fire but lovingly restored to its former glory to keep in tune with its early colonial era. With its shady courtyards, extensive gardens, 120 seat function space, and upstairs deck, it is a prime country wedding venue with a touch of historic charm. In 2018 the venue won an award for the best-redeveloped hotel.

Facilities and Capacity

• The Garden Ceremony caters to 40 guests with white garden chairs under the flower-filled canopy in the courtyard. Two wine barrels with decor or country-style wedding arbour as well as a signing table.
• The main venue is flexible and can be inside or outside or both, with the outdoors opening up with large doors from the gorgeous exposed brick interior. A beautiful country-style bridal table with medium-sized square guest chairs that can make long tables or remain individual. Tables with linen tablecloths, overlays, and napkins as well as dinnerware, silverware, and glasses. It comfortably caters to 100 seated guests and 130 standing cocktail-style receptions.
