About Boronia House
The Boronia House is a beautiful Victorian mansion located in the Reservoir Park, only ten minutes from the North Sydney CBD. The wedding venue is surrounded by well-manicured meadows and is perfect for the couples who wish to have an old fashioned and classy wedding. The mansion was built around 1885, during the reign of Queen Victoria. The wedding venue has a rich architectural history behind it and is suitable for both weddings and high tea ceremonies.
The Boronia House has mainly two wedding venues outdoors and a backup ceremony venue inside of the mansion:
• There are two gardens available for the wedding ceremony which can hold 200 guests in total. The wedding will be conducted with the mansion in the background.
• Receptions are conducted outside the boronia house before sunset.
• The first floor of the mansion is used as a backup venue in case of heavy rain during the rainy and winter seasons. The indoor venue holds 130 guests downstairs and 100 guests upstairs. Reception is also conducted inside the mansion. The gardens outside provide a beautiful scene for post-wedding photoshoots.
