Paddington Town Hall

Featuring the classic Municipal Renaissance-style architecture, the Paddington Town Hall was constructed in 1891. This vintage building was opened by Lord Jersey, who was the Governor of NSW during that time. This venue is located on Oxford Street ridge and close to the Victoria Barracks, an Australian Army Base.
Paddington Town Hall was built in a towering location that looks over the entire town. This wedding venue is listed among the most Victorian residential enclosures from all over the world and is known for its tall Clock Tower that rises 32m above the ground. The tower was not a part of the initial layout of the property.
It was built in 1905 to memorialise Edward VII’s coronation. The present owners of the hall have refurbished the whole space to allow visitors into this historic venue. Its features and elements have been restored just like the original structure, to safeguard its heritage value.

● Paddington Town Hall has a beautiful and capacious function space called The Stapleton Hall. This room is placed on the 1st floor of the main structure and can be accessed by using the stairs or lift. Its stunning art deco style and polished flooring compliments the grand entrance and 9m high ceiling. This hall can easily accommodate 750 guests in cocktail-style setup. However, in a seated plan, it is perfect for 500 guests.
● The couples can also use the elegant reception area or foyer for the after-parties and dinners. This room is accompanied by an open balcony and comprehensive bar facilities and looks over the classy Oxford Street.

● With air-conditioned function spaces, the Paddington Town Hall provides unlimited Wi-Fi and Internet access along with car park and 3-phase power supply.
● The Bridal Party can use the equipped Green Room to make final touch-ups to their looks.
● Sound system, lectern, and microphone are available for the event on-site. Mood lighting services are available in the Stapleton Hall.
● Couples will receive the guidance of an in-house technician.

● Around 500 chairs are available at the venue. However, in case of additional seating requirement, couples will have to contact other suppliers.

Paddington Town Hall has an open catering policy. However, they only accept caterers with a registered gold license. The appointed caterers can use the inclusive Commercial Kitchen unit of the venue.
