About House of Sounds
House of Sounds is an entertainment firm that has been around for a long time, providing music services to couples having their weddings in Perth and its surrounding. The company offers all kinds of music with very experienced DJs and MCs.
At the moment, the founder, Malcolm, takes on the job of a DJ and MC but outsources if need be.
Malcolm has been described as someone who has dominated the music space in Perth for around 14 years. He has worked with couples and DJs from Perth’s biggest music industries and learnt beat mix while doing a residency at Jeremiah’s Nightclub.
Malcolm spent five years at the club and moved out to do DJ work at weddings. Around the same time, he founded the House of Sounds music firm. This was in 1991, and since then, the company had grown and featured in countless weddings in Perth. He is the key person in the firm, offering both Dj and MC services.
House of Sounds offers Dj and MC services at weddings. They have a standard setup which comprises of a:
● 15” Powered EV Sub
● Pair of 12” EV speakers
They also offer power and base service for about 250 people seated. For a larger audience, they can make available:
● 4 of the 12” speakers with the sub
● 2 microphones (one cordless which can be used for singing, speeches, compere etc)
● A 3rd microphone is available on request (corded or cordless).
● 3 lights
● Bubble machine (if permitted)
● Extra effects are also available on request.
