She is a graduate of The Australian College of Natural Health Sciences (completed in 1996) and Australian College of Beauty Therapy (completed in 2001) and earned a certificate in Makeup Artistry. She also completed the Advanced Certificate in Makeup Artistry from Artists at Play in the year 2017.
Her works have also featured in about 4 editions of Western Australia Wedding and Bride Magazine, besides others.
With this history of top certifications and training, she only started her full make-up career recently.
Black Lash was born under unexpected circumstances. This is because Tara had 4 kids in the space of 4 years with the last one coming unplanned. Hence, she could not continue her 40+ hours a week job in the finance industry and had to channel her experience in and love for makeup into a career.
