The museum has several designed spaces to cater to functions. The spaces cater for both outdoor and indoor wedding ceremonies & reception, conferences, dinner party, events, and other functions. This venue has 7 spaces that can be used for wedding ceremonies and receptions.
● Gandel Atrium surrounds your guest with its collection of objects in the space of soaring ceilings and large windows. As a table setting, it can hold 1000 cocktail guests, 450 banquet guests and 500 for theatre style. The venue hire comes with a security guard, cleaner and lectern and microphone.
● Bay Window gives you a unique backdrop for your wedding. As a table setting, it can hold 150 cocktail guests, 110 banquet guests, 60 cabaret guests and 120 theatre styles. It has an area of 125 square meters and comes with a security guard, cleaner and lectern & microphone.
● Peninsula Room gives you that electric feeling of being practical during the day and being intimate during the evening. For table setup, it has a capacity of up to 280 for cocktails, 200 for banquets, 160 for cabarets and 250 for theatre style. Along with the venue comes 2 data projectors plus screen, Wi-Fi internet, BOSE PA sound system, a roving microphone and lectern. Pre-wedding canapes can be held at a deck and undercover outdoor area exclusively for your use.
● The Café is your one ticket to the perfect evening ideas of yours with the high ceilings, expansive windows, and a covered deck. The table setup can accommodate 250 cocktail guests in a 200 square meter area of space. It also comes with a security guard and a cleaner.
● Friends Lounge is the intimate lakeside space for small informal gatherings with the doors open to a deck leading you to the Burley Griffin. It can accommodate 80 seated guests in a table setup. There is an audio system that comes with the venue.
● Garden of Australian Dreams offers a massive space of 5500 square meters. The table setup can accommodate 1000 cocktail guests and 350 dinner guests to enjoy a brilliant magical setting for your outdoor evening event. The creativity showcased through its landscaping and lighting effects will enmesh itself into the memories of your guest. A security guard and a cleaner come with the venue package.
● Amphitheatre and Lakeside Deck was an impressive outdoor venue with table setup that can hold 1600 cocktail guests and 450 dinner guests. A security guard and a cleaner are inclusive of the package.

The Broadbean Catering and Events allows you to tailor your beverage package to your taste. The catering team proved themselves by winning the ACT Wedding Caterer of the Year, ACT Catering of the Year and ACT Venue Caterer awards. Different options of entrees, canapes, and dessert to select from. Meals can also be tailored to meet you and your guest dietary requirements. However, the Broadbean Catering with our security can at their discretion refuse to serve alcoholic beverages to intoxicated guests. Third party catering is not allowed.
