About Batesford Hotel
Batesford Hotel was established in the 1800s and is located in Moorabool Valley. It was once a berry farm and had a rich history of food, boutique, and celebrations. This beautiful has been subsequently renovated and refurnished while maintaining the old ancestral architecture. Today this rustic and historic venue can be used to celebrate intermediate or big celebrations, cooperate meetings, and conferences. It has also held host to some lavish wedding celebrations in the past few years.
The venue provides for the best outdoor wedding site in Geelong and reception indoors:
• The Mooraball Garden is an outdoor riverside set up for your wedding ceremony with the beautiful Batesford bridge in the background. 20-300 guests can be accommodated for the ceremony. After the ceremony, the guests can move around the lawn area and have pre-dinner drinks before moving in indoors.
• Mooraball room: This room has a combination of old and the new with modern furnishing and exposed white beams. This room can accommodate 160-seated guests and 300 standing guests.
• Batesford room and Sunroom: Both these rooms are merged to enable the guests and musicians to fit in. This Batesford room can accommodate 50 sited and 60 standing guests while the sunroom can accommodate 30-seated guests in its verandah. If you want an intimate setup for your wedding, this is the best place for you.
