Hadley’s Orient Hotel wedding venue is a wedding space with a rich history and even richer architecture. It is located in the central CBD in Tasmania. Built in the year 1834, during the Victorian era, Hadley’s Orient Hotel is located opposite St. David’s Cathedral. It is a stunning and romantic wedding spot close to the CBD. It is perfect for couples who are looking for a space with vintage decoration and accommodation opportunity.
Hadley’s Orient Hotel wedding ceremony and reception spaces are located indoors and semi-outdoors. There is mainly one wedding ceremony space and two reception spaces.
● The Atrium is an indoor wedding ceremony space with great views of the outdoor area and allows natural light to seep in. There are beautiful high ceilings that can be decorated using curtains and draperies. The ceremony space's backdrop is covered in foliage and appeals to those couples who love nature and the outdoors. It holds up to 150 wedding guests.
● One of the indoor reception spaces is the Leadlight room. It has beautiful ceiling details, which can be decorated with pendant lights and floral hangings. The room occupies 60 to 80 wedding guests.
● The larger reception area is the Mary Hadley room, which holds a minimum of 60 and a maximum 0f 140 wedding guests when joined with the Leadlight room. Wedding ceremonies can also be held in the Mary Hadley room.
