About The Long Gallery
The Long Gallery is part of the Salamanca Arts Center and its most extensive too, and despite its size, it contains warmth and intimacy. At the Centres’ first level it has been the backdrop of countless live performances, workshops, balls, exhibitions, and weddings. The Long Gallery has French doors open to Salamanca Place and 30 meters of oak columns and limewashed sandstone walls complimenting 180-year-old polished wooden floors.
The Long Gallery caters to 400 cocktail style events and 200 seated guests. With its wooden floors, exposed wood beams, and low wooden ceiling, you have overhead lighting and various lighting options to choose from. The overhead wooden beans can also be decorated with draping additional lights and flowers and another décor—adequate space for a large dance floor plus space for a large live band and music. Tables are long or square and rectangular with the area a blank canvas ging you the freedom to choose floor plans and table layout.
