About Lindesay
The Lindesay House is a Darling Point, Sydney harbour elegant and exclusive wedding venue. This mansion was built in 1830 with full views of Sydney harbour across manicured lawns. It is a sought-after venue for private and corporate banquets, cocktail functions, and weddings. It is easily accessed with most guests and brides accessing the platform via the Darling Point ferry, two minutes. The harborside mansion has been renovated numerous times in its 180 plus years. It remains true to its original timelessness.
• The Garden Ceremony and Reception caters to 100 guests with wooden garden chairs with gorgeous Gazebos and aisle runners. Brides arrive in splendour at a circular drive onto a sandstone courtyard onto the private garden where the ceremony and reception awaits.
• The dining room caters to 20 cocktail-style guests or seated guest in a room with stunning Georgian interiors. The furniture is a collection of the best colonial and English style. Below the house's ground floor is a freshwater well, servants' quarters, and a majestic stone kitchen.
