Thoroughbred Park is situated just five to ten minutes from Canberra CBD. It offers the best of the countryside's freedom and serenity and stunning views of Majura Mountain ranges and Brindabella. Thoroughbred Park boasts a variety of versatile and light-filled function spaces. These spaces are:
• Rich Reward Room
The Rich Reward Room is situated on level two of the Queen Elizabeth II grandstand, offering an exceptional track view. The room features floor-to-ceiling windows with blinds, an in-house speaker system, a private bar, etc. It can accommodate up to 150 guests.
• Silks Room
The Silks Room is the most sought after for weddings, situated at the southern end of the Acton grandstand on level two. This room features floor-to-ceiling windows offering views of the Brindabella's in the daytime or the lit-up track at night. It is an expansive room that accommodates up to 250 seated guests with a dance floor or 320 cocktail-style guests.
• Black Opal Room
The Black Opal Room is located on the second floor at the Northern end of the Queen Elizabeth II grandstand. It features full-length windows offering a direct view of the mounting yard and winning post. It can accommodate 250 seated guests with a dance floor or 400 cocktail-style guests.
• Exhibition Pavilion
The Exhibition Pavilion is a grand and expansive space that can be altered to accommodate a lavish wedding or event. It has direct access to lawn areas and can accommodate up to 1200 seated guests or 2000 cocktail-style guests.
• Winning Post Bar
The Winning Post Bar is a quiet room with direct access to an outdoor area. It can accommodate up to 800 guests.
